This website isn't a music blog, but maybe its a wannabe one. I'm already running out of the exquisite vocab required to describe listening to sounds.

I discovered Blood Orange and his album Cupid Deluxe in my first year of college. In college, everything is embarrassing. But I do commend my past self for finding Cupid Deluxe. Because a few years later, I now find refuge and clarity in its songs. In college, this album was a funky bop that was simply cool. Now, my favorite tracks relay a settling angst that we're grappling with. There is some omnipresent pressure that my generation has put upon itself to achieve a level of success expeditiously early on in its career. Its a product of technology, social media, start up culture etc. but its there and dangling over our heads.

and I guess listening to it is what it is helps placate this self & society induced anxiety.
Also on the line, chamakay, you're not good enough are bops
